this is a PI intake right

im doin a pi head swap on my 97....but this intake doesn't have a mount for the alternator bracket....is it missing something??

The silver makes it hard to see. The PI intake's first runner goes to the driver's head, where asthe NPI's first runner goes to the passenger head. Here's a pic of my old NPI (right) compared to the PI (left):

anyone??? i don't know what to do with the alternator?? is the intake missing something....it doesn't have that metal piece on the front like all the ones ive seen???

The alternator bolts up to the coolant crossover. If your intake is missing it, you need to get one unless you have the modified Ford NPI.

well my intake doesn't have the coolant crossover....does it just bolt on to the intake or something?? im confused

Yeah, it bolts right to the intake.

you gunna want to buy a manifold with the aluminum crossover installed allready. youll be hard pressed to find the gaskets for the crossover.

it looks to be a npi intake. good news thoe i think thoes are pi heads, the shape of the coolant port gives it away.
id say buy a factory intake (for say a 2001 gt) (~200 bucks) and slap that **** together.
the plastic stock one will be fine as long as you dont run a nos or f/i setup and even then it can handle some abuse.
