Need some help here......

I've tried just about everything. I have a 96 Cobra and my idle is goofy, somedays it wants to idle up to 2000 RPM then back done to 1000RPM and thats when I push in the clutch when Im coming to a stop, it keepsgoing back and forth until I come to a full stop. Then today it did a whole different thing. It stayed at 2000Rpms at a stop and then went down to 1000Rpms but a couple of seconds later it went from 1000Rpms to almost 0. But it kicked back upto 1000Rpms.

What is going on with my car, plus I was thinking about reseting my computer. But Im not sure how

 

Clean or replace your IAC. You can reset the computer by unhooking the battery for 30 min or so and then hook it back up. Try the SVT section of these forums they may know better.

 

Thanks but already tried that. But I did take my car to my friend that works at ford so, I hope that he can fix it.
