I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem. Once in a while when I try to srart my car, the engine will start for a second and then just die. Sometimes if I start it up and keep my foot on the gas for a few seconds, this will prevent it from dying. Other times, as soon as I relase the gas, the rpms drop and the engine will die. This happens 1 out of every 20 times i try to start my car. Last time I had to drive to the mechanic without taking my foot of the gas, at the stoplights. THe mechanic said it might have something to do with the rpm sensor. Also, anyone know if this could have anything to do with bad gas mileage (10mpg)?

 

you should get ur computer checked out it sounds like its not calling for gas. go to a shop and hav it checked out
