Default MAC h-pipe modular?

i remember reading on here somewhere that if u buy a STOCK REPLACEMENTh pipe from mac (i have the o/r one) and later decide to go with long tube headers that you wont have to buy a new, shorty h-pipe since the stock replacement from MAC are a 2 peice design. can anyone confirm this?

My Mac O/R h I had on my GT was a single welded piece of crap.

You must be thinking of the SLP or Bassani mid-pipe, I forget which one it is.

I don't think they make a catted mid-pipe anymore. If you got the shorty ones, they are modular. The others are not.

The new MAC h-pipes are a 3 piece design. I'm not sure about the short to long headers. but i know you can go from O/R to prochamber, and i think you can also swap out the 2 front pieces for ones with cats.
