there are about 1001 posts on this problem, this usually happens after an intake and tb swap. I have change both my iac valve and my tpswith no luckand from what i hear this is just how these 2v's are set up you might be better off learning to live with it.

Mine idled at 1900 after tb and C&L intake. Lucky for me my Diablo Predator let me override the idle so I set it where I want it.

it shouldnt be doing this though, its never done this in the past. and i had a intake, throttle body, and plenum. hell, it didnt do it when i had the supercharger on it. im not talking about the car dieing from the iac valve sticking. i have a P-51 intake manifold with an egr delete with a 75mm accufab TB. im wondering if it could be something due to the egr delete.

ive yet to see these 1001 posts on this problem. im on here all the time and most the time i only see posts due to a sticking iac or the idle is high in general after a swap of throttle body or plenum.

The Diablo tuner is a very handy thing to have. You can adjust your idle speed, fuel mixture, gear ratio, tire size; hell you can even turn off your CEL.

i will try it in the morning... wondering if that will fix the problem. someone said it helped for their hanging idle. i thought the only thing the restrictor did was just make the rpms drop faster and that was it?
