alright got a 1996 GT bbk o/r h pipe, will just two of the pypes hi flow cats pass emissions, or 4, or two cats and a predator tuner pass? thanks for the time

Its going to depend on what state you live in and how strict the tester is. Generally speaking, on states that don't follow the "nazifornia" code of emmissions a regular catted aftermarket pipe, with only 2 cats, will be legal.

I'm pretty sure it's illegal under federal law to tamper with catalyic converters, but I'm not 100% sure.

ha been down that illegalroute, wanting to sell it and i don't want someone having to pay out the a** for cats when they have to get the inspection next year.

you will fail if they do a visual or the sniffer test... if they do an OBD (on board diagnostic) you will be fine

You are going to be soooo screwed when you get caught for that.....

Good luck with that and I hope you have deep pockets for any impending lawsuits that you will have in your future because you have an accident that a ligit inspection would have caught.

Not to mention that is against the law and you will become someones girl friend in a nice small room, do you like your pillows to smell like downy???

haha i was going to say something but just decided to let it go, but since someone did, and inspection costs you what max $150. what happens when someone hits you, cuz you could not do anything wrong and still get f*cked for that. good luck
