dh324 - What kinds of things did you run into when installing your headers? I know you installed Longtubes, and i was going the Shorty route..

Did you have to lift the engine a little to get clearance, or will the old manifolds pass by the K Frame easy enough??

Any other hints, or suggestions from anyone??

Yeah, don't bother to get shorties for a 4.6L. Its still a pain in the *** and your gains will be squat.

passenger side was the worst it took 4 hours plus alot of lost blood and skin to take the stock ones out and out the new ones in. I had to lift the motor about 5 inches i took the pass motor mount completely out, also the top bolt on the starter seemed almost inpossible to get to but i did it removed the starter. Putting the header in wasnt much fun either have to wiggle it around to set it in place. The drivers side was very smooth except for the dipstick tube had to bend it about 4-5 times to fit it back in that was a bitch as well. Now its all done and it sounds awesome havent driven it yet cause i have a suspended license until next week but my buddy drove it and said it woke the car right up and you can totally tell a difference.
