I have a 1996 gt vert that going to get a 04 engine. I know I have to swap the coil packs. But do I need to change fuel rails. I guess what I need to know what all must be done to swap out the engine.Will I alsoneed atune up to match the engine to the computer. I'd be thankful for any and all help .

 

im pretty sure u can use the fuel rails from ur 96 engine...
by the way where did u get ur engine? im looking to do the same thing ASAP!!

 

I found it on ebay 96-04 ford mustang gt 4.6 crate engine-4.6 L motor. These are new motors with Alt, water pump, power steering pump. You can take it for what it worth but there is no warrenty. Afriend bought one and had no complaint. Plus they have good reviews. That all I know.
