Default Basic Mods

1. Would i need bigger injectors w/ a new upper plenum and 75mm throttle body? or 70 mm TB

2.BBK ceramic coated headers, are they a b**ch to install or what?

3. Also heard that if i put an H pipe w/out hi-flow cats on my car it will run like crap cause of no back pressure, and will an H pipe bolt on to stock manifold?

All i have done to my car right now is BBK U/D pulleys, cold air intake, flowmaster cat back.
I ran my car twice at the track first time ever running was a 14.99 second time was 14.70 and i had to let off the gas because i was sideways in first gear. Please give me some tips guys i will be so thankful. Also how should i launch at the strip?

1. no. your stocker will work fine until you reach about 300 rwhp. they they will become a restiction. i'm changing out mine to 24's this week.

2. if they are long tubes, oh yes.

3. whoever told you that is not very smart. you don't have to worry about backpressure. i run an off road pipe with no problems. if you buy the right size pipe, it will fit. if you intend to put headers on, buy an H pipe to match your new headers. one designed to work with stock headers wont work with aftermarket ones.

your times are ok for your mods. on street tires, launch as hard as you can without spinning. wich may not be too hard.

Will the standard 2.5 inch H pipe bolt on to the stock manifold?

yes it will. Offraod midpipes will offer you a few more hp than the catted midpipes and they sound much much better! Ditch the flowmasters for MAGNAFLOW!

Off-road midpipes will net you 0 more HP than a catted midpipe these days.

But they are much cheaper and have a little bit more growl and bite, IMHO.
