Default X pipe

Is there a difference between a shorty x pipe and a regular x pipe in sound/performance because a shorty is about $100 cheaper?

if u have stock headers, which i'm guessing u do, u need to get a full-length (or regular) x-pipe. the shortys are made to fit with longtube headers and won't fit on ur car.
