Buying a Cobra
I am thinking of buying a cobra or a mach 1. Something with a 4valve.
What year cobras are good?

03 cobra has a forged bottom end. That's the major difference. If you've got that kinda money and want the performance, you could drop a built motor into your 96

with your price range i would say a 01 cobra 270ish rwhp and the 4v but not forged

A decent 03 or 04 Cobra might be a stretch for $17, but you might be able to land a Mach 1 if you look high and low…
