Instructions on installing a CAI.
I am almost 18 and I have a 1999 GT that I want to make faster, I am going to buy a K&N FIPK and i was wondering if anyone could walk me through installing it on my own.

Take out air filter at the MAF, and just clamp in your new filter. Don't forget to reset your computer by disconnecting the battery of the car for about 10 minutes.

You're right...most directions are written by monkeys with typewriters. You have to disconnect the battery so that the computer will properly read the new signal from the MAF. Most don't do this, and as a result, they see diddly results, and they come running to the forums saying CAI are a myth.
thye come in the box its really not that hard like everyone has said i put mine in at 10 o'clock at night in my drive way with only the street light as a light easy as pie,
