Default Supercharger question?????

Hey guys..... I have a 98 GT with a PI swap on it, and now I want a S/C. I wanted to know if a 97-98 5.4 Lightning supercharger would work on my car? (part num. M-6066_T542) . I know I would have to get the manifold, but besides that, would it work? A buddy of mine is selling it and I want to buy it from him if it will work for me. Please let me know ASAP. Any help would be apreciated.
Thanks

Well first of all if hes selling you a 97-98 Lightning S/C your getting screwed, but im sure thats just a typo. Im sure it can work..... but it falls under the category of too much work / fabrication for so little a benefit. I dont think it will line up with you pulleys first of all, and I doubt you could get the intake manifold to fit right. You may be getting a good deal on it, but its gonna be way more headache than its worth.

He says it was for a F-150 that he was going to convert into lightning. He told me it was for the 97-98 F-150. I looked up on Ford Racing and saw basically the same kit, and it said it was for the 96-98 Mustangs with 99+ heads. The only difference I saw was that the throttle was pointing to the left side of the IM, instead of the center like this one does. I'll look for the site right now so you can see it.... this is freaking me out

Ok found it, but it wasn't on Ford Racing, my bad, it was on lethalperformance. Here is the site:

Ahh, Ive seen those before. Are you sure the F-150 one he has is the same as the one you have a link to? I guess if that one is for a 4.6L F-150 you should be good. Dont expect alot of power out of that S/C though, the site says 55hp. As long as you are getting a good deal on it, go for it. But remember your gonna need to spend some cash getting it tuned.

If its an L setup its not going to work. The hard part is the manifold, and a 4.6L manifold will not fit on a 5.4L and vice versa.

The only difference between them is that the one he has, the throttle is on top and centered. The one on the link is at the left hand side. I know is not that much of a gain but I have ported PI heads and the typhhon IM, so I now I could see more. On the tunning part, I'm not worry because my car is getting finished with the PI swap and they still haven't tune the car. So I think I'm getting a good deal out of it
