Default Traction Lock Question

Hi,

I just bought a 2004 Mustang GT, Manual Transmission.

How can I tell if I have Traclok rear-end? Do all GT Mustangs come with that, or is there a way I can tell?

Thanks for the help - sorry for the newbie question!

Default RE: Traction Lock Question

Jack the rear end up so that both tires are off the ground, then turn one of the wheels by hand. If the other one turns the same way, you have it, and if they turn opposite directions, you have an open rear end. I'm sure there's a code on your differential, but I don't know what it is.

Don't worry. ALL GTs HAVE TRACLOC (sp?).
