which is better? i know its kinda based upon opinions but what does one have that the other doesn't? these are the 2 i've been told to get.

 

Ah, the question of the century, but you right it's based on opinions. IMO, get whatever your local tuner has the programming to tune with. Around here for me, it's SCT. Depending where your at, it may be something else.

 

It's not who's better, it's who do you have more access too. I have SCT and diablo tuners in my area and I like SCT. Pick which one you'll be able to go to and have re-tune when you need it.

what do yall mean when you say go with whatever your local tuner has?

 

If at anytime you think you might be going to get a "real" tune done on a dyno, you want to go with the tuning software the dyno guy uses.
I picked up a Diablo a few years ago and then found out the best Dyno Tuner in the area used SCT. Doh! He couldn't do diddly with it, except make some general recommendations.
