when my key is in the ignition but the car is off it beeps like my door is open....i slammed both doors and it didnt help....i cant sit in my car and listen to the radio unless its running or else i just get that damn beeping...also when i lock my car it beeps twice like the door is open, i dont get it...do i have a bad sensor in my door latch or something?? anyone know which fuse controls the beeping so i can just pull it out?

try spraying some lock lube in the door latch. sometimes they stick and cause your problem. there's a little switch in there thats gets gummed up.

try moving the ignition, where you put the key in mine does the same thing, worn out, play with it till it goes awaylike i pull my key out and it like to go beep beep beep...and i grab it with my hand turn it forward, (without key) and it stops....let me know if this helps

Mine does the same thing beeps twice when using the keyfob, keeps dinging, and the interior light stays on all the time. So i'm about 90% sure its some sensor in the door which like the guy above said must be in the latch.

I was gonna take the door apart eventually.

At least it doesn't beep when you back up!

sprayed some wd 40 into the latch, and now its fixed.....damn you're good haha thanks man!!

Your window switch is probably gumed up. It is located on the door latch itself it is not to hard to fix just have to take your time
