Default Getting The 3:90s

I have a guy that wants to sell me some 3:90s. Ive done a little research and it sounds like these are the gears for me. Just wondering what the difference would be going about 75-80 mph. And what all will i need besides the gears to install them... will i need the rear end rebuild kit? i just rolled over 60k miles... and if i do need the rebuild kit.. do i get the one with or without bearings. Just need some good info about putting in new gears and doing it right... How hard is it? I used to be into the ricers but then i found out where the power is really at!!! So im alittle new to the REAR END.. lol Please let me know asap.. Thanks Guys..
