hey yall, i currently have a 96 gt with 47000 miles runnig 4.30 gears. should i convert it to a 4V cobra motor, or should i just supercharge it

superchargers on non pi arent that good(kenne bell at least) .You could do a pi swap and supercharger and that would be great or a cobra swap with a supercharger Either way it would be excellent.Read other threads and check out supercharger websites.

For the money, labor, time, etc.... I would do a PI swap and supercharge.

Yes It would raise the CR, you could get your npi heads ported instead and get some blower cams or pi swap and use water/meth injection. 4v swap isn't worth it imo.

4v > 2v any day of the week. If no F/I you should do 4v if you use F/I than a 2v can be almost as good until the shortblock goes.

and labor is no issue since i pretty much build the car myself

twin turbo would be awesome man but it's gonna be a lot harder to install than a supercharger. i hope u have another car that u can drive during the install

lol, as a full time student i have until christmas break to get everything ready, then install it over break, and ta da, 10 sec time slips
