sputtering problem

my car has started sputtering in 5th gear going 50 mph. should some new spark plugs fix this problem?

How many miles on the car. Probably time for a tune up.

5th gear at 50 is kinda sluggish any way with 3.27's

there's only 50,000 miles on the car. and yea i know 5th's sluggish but i can feel the engine actually cutting out on me
