Default Differences within the 99-04 model range?

I occasionally see parts that are available only for 01-04 GTs, as opposed to 99-04 GTs. One example would be Patriot Heads. I was under the impression that the car remained relatively unchanged over those six years (minus the hood scoop and headlights). Can anyone enlighten me on this?

What piston CC's do you think I have in my car then? Just curious, I know mine is an 01, and it also came with the earlier pulley design.

Lets not forget the aluminum crossover on the intake manifold. Changed that **** in 01 i believe? Which also changed the alternator bracket.

And my buddy with an 01 has a different pulley setup than mine.

Also, on the intake tube, 99-mid01 has 2 sensors, MAF and air temp sensor. mid01-04 has them combined at the MAF. Makes a big difference when buying a CAI.

And they also changed the location of the rear defrost button. On my car its by the headlight ****, on my friends 02 it was next to traction control. Weird.
