Default Having trans mount problems!

Recently I have been hearing a knocking when I accelerate forewards or backwards from a dead stop and I wasn't sure why. I swapped out the motormounts and still knocked. (I wasn't smart enough to check the trans mount right away) needless to say I checked the trans mount andboth of the bolts that hold the transmission mountto the transmission were missing, I have no clue what happened to them or how the heck they dissappeared but they did. Now I ordered a polytrans mount fromsummit and it doesn't fit. I have a 98 Gt andI called energy suspension and theytell me that for 96-98 gt's they don't make a mount and summit sent me one fora 5.0mustang.The worst part is that I can't even get a oem mount in because my transmission is crooked or off center about a 1/4 inch. I have no clue how to get it back to center or what else to do next.If someone has any idea or experience please help.

you can slide your transmission side to side if thats what needs to be done, not an easy task. You may have to loosen either motor mounts or exhaust tips to help aid in sliding.
