Just ordered bolt on's what do you guys think?
Well guys I just ordered my first bolt on's....I order the Summit Throttle Body Spacer 75mm, Trick Flow Intake Plenum, BBK CAI......It is a start to my long list of upgrades. What do you guys think about my purchase? Will I be able to tell the least bit difference lol...if I cant I know that along the way these parts will help. Thanks for your time! Oh and by the way I have already a Flowmaster x pipe, No CATS, and 40series exhausts... Next I think I am going to go with 3.90s and Trick Flow Underdrive Pulleys..
nice start...good choice on going with gears next. You may notice a little difference in your head lol, but on the dyno you might pick up 5-10rwhp. You should notice better throttle response though.
Thanks for the replies guys! Yea I am in college and money is crazy tight so my dreams are having to be put off until I get out of college in one more year. So as for now I am just buying bolt on's to help out the cause for when I do have a job. My true plans would to be a ProCharger Intercooled w/ 10psi, SCT Programmer, 60lb injectors, SVT fuelpump, BBK LTH, Stage 2 cam with some serious lift, Underdrive pulleys, Steeda Tri-Ax and a few more things but unfortunately that stuff is going to have to wait at least the supercharger that is. Oh and a Mach shaker system connected to the charger....But that stuff is going to have to wait the Charger that is because money and school 4800 is alot of cash to just save....so that is why I am starting with basic bolt on's....=-) with hopes that when I do one day get the supercharger I will already be to a great start not just a supercharger alone...Thanks again for your time guys I enjoy reading your replies...

As for your "wish" list, might want to reconsider a few things. If you eventually plan on going procharger, hold off on the underdrive pullies and the cai. You'll just end up taking them off and selling it again anyway. Also, you wont want cams with a big lift if you have a blower, just something to reconsider.

I would return it all and spend the money on the gears. Hey, you asked.

You guys act like 5-10rwhp is nothing... Its a building block.
Every little bit counts. I just dont understand some of the people on these forums. We'll you might gain 15-30rwhp from some LT's but its really not worth it.... WTF? Are you kidding?
Congrats on the mods man.. It wont be too long and the mod bug is going to bite hard, then youre screwed.
I never said that 5/10/15 hp mods are not worth it. I just said you realistically wont be able to tell a difference when you add little mods like that. Yes they do add up. But you end up spending thousands in bolt ons for what, 20-30hp? I started off with bolt ons, did every one in the book, and ive learned my lesson. My next car is going straight to h/c/i work or f/i.
