Default Running lean

Hey guys, me again- my gt has been running "lean in bank one" for about a month now, ive tried Bg 44k fuel system cleaner, and cleaning the Maf sensor(suggested by the guy at Advanced), and it hasnt helped. Its been doing this since i put on my mangaflow cat-back, and putting all my intake stuff on and reseting the computer didnt seem to help either, any ideas?

Only way to know is to use a wideband, he's quoting the error code given by a diagnostic code scanner. If an 02 sensor reads a fault, theirs a 50/50 chance the 02 could be bad or it could really be a problem.

Hey I'm having the same problem. I installed a new PI intake on my 97GT with (1)inch adapter plates for my non-pi heads(from Livernoise). Also I installed a spacer between my plenum and intake. After all of that my check engine light has been on. I had Advance Auto read the codes and bank 1 and 2 are running lean. The guy said that it was more then likely bringing in too much air and not enough fuel. He said the computer has to be told to put out more gas to match the extra air(TUNE i'm guessing) Also said if you can make the car run cooler you can trick the computer to send out more gas to try and warm up the car?!?!?!

Did you have a tune done to the car while it was on a dyno to make sure everything is dialed in correctly?

Kinda off topic, but you should tint your windows spoons.
