What is the best kind of exhaust system for my 99 GT, and where can i buy it. Do I want X-pipes or something else? What system will give me the best sound?

you should probably check pipes boost and juice section. there's always like 5 active discussions going on about what kind of exhaust should one get. X gives you a better sound at WOT while still giving a nice pur and growl low in the RPMs, H gives you a deeper, more aggressive growl out lower RPMs but doesn't sound as good WOT. the performance difference is very minimal so just get what you think sounds better.

catback will give you the sound though. there's tons of choices. if you want really deep and really really loud, SLP loudmouth 2s. if you want super duper loud and still deep, SLP loudmouth 1s. if you want want something you can cruise with and it not be loud all the time, i say magnaflows or SLP powerflo.

 

yeah i have an off road x and the Loudmouth I's and its insane but i got use to it. its really loud but when i take my foot off the gas its quit and its really only super loud when giving it alot of gas. basically off road mid pipe and loudmouth 1's will have you driving like an old lady so you don't attract cops.
