ive got a 97 4.6 and im takin the motor out in a few days to do some pretty major stuff. im porting, polishing and rebuilding the heads with all new stock components. the motor has bbk cold air intake, bbk headers, trickflow intake, 75 mm throttle body and a few other bolt ons what i want to know is what cam should i use to get a idle sound like the one in this video.... thanks for any responses.

That is definitely a pretty big cam as in stage 3+. I have a crower stage 2 NA high lift 268/272 I BELIEVE and mine doesn't cam nearly that hard. If that is the case it would be a waste for you to go with that big of a cam. You would need upgraded valvetrain and have a decent loss in low end power. For your basic bolt ons go stage one. For engine work go stage 2 IMO.

That vid has been on this site for years. He just unhooked the IAC hose or some vaccum hose. A bone stock GT can sound like that, but it's kinda gay.
