Default Best CAI and why.

Obviously the CAI (cold air induction) kits make more horse than the engine bay, or "ram air" style setup. So what is your favorite CAI, and why? (price, material, heat shield, avail. colors, etc)

Mine: http://www.lethalperformance.com/pag...plete-kit.html

The Torch Red color match is nice.

If you already have a JLT then stick with that, they are the best of the CAI world. If not then just stick with the stock and a K&N like dimebag said.

Ebay brand. Best price wins cause they all add no power. You know the stock intake is a CAI right?

JLT for sure, however like oxfordgt said it's not much power added, I wouldn't say none though.

actually C&L are probably the best brand out there. Atleast with my motor, they even have a true dyno sheet result with their whole system resulting in almost 20rwhp or something, not just a claim of some high HP number. On HP tv they tested one on a 5.0 fox body and picked up around 10rwhp or close to that. They are a little hefty in price though, mine came to be a little under $400(adding in shipping). Made from a cast metal design(I'm not sure what type). It comes with a heat shield and is a silver color.

+1 on the JLT. Gain might not be that great, but I love the look. To each his own

Save your money for some real mods and just drop in a K&N. I think you can also remove a piece of the factory cai that's a baffle or something and it helps air flow (I know I did that back on my '93 5.0, so I figure you can also do it on our generation Mustangs).
