Default IAC Mod: Complete

Well guess I just did the IAC Mod and she is complete! I just took her down the road and wow talk about no more RPM hanging....SWEET! Oh and I have 40 series flows O/R X-Pipe and not cats.......She def drives and sounds a little different....same sound but comes in and out different what am I trying to say at different times and duration maybe thats better. Anyhow guys if you want to fix the RPM hang in our cars then this mod works wonderful. I have $1.76 in it haha. I also used the 3/16 drill bit and it idles perfect.....although like he stated it hisses some when just standing next to the car but I like it because I know why...lol Oh just one more thing what does IAC even stand for....sorry I don know!

Not a problem. I'm not sure where you live and what the temp is now, but just an FYI... On cold mornings, you might have a little trouble keeping the car running when you first crank it.

my cars an auto and i did this mod, didnt quite use as small of a hole as everyone recommends, i used a lil over a quarter inch hole, and i never received a check engine light. I did remove the mod though after a few months, I like the engine revving up to 1500 rpms and holding for a second at startup, especially after its been awhile since i driven, it gets the oil moving. It also sounds nicer imo, and restricting the hole will eventually build up all types of carbon and nastiness, after I removed my modified gasket with 3 months of use the hole was black and sooty, almost burnt up, my stock gasket thats 9 yrs old is like new.
