TPS setting???

RE: TPS setting???
Percentage of what? [edit]It just occurred to me that you must be talking about % or throttle opening.TPS is not generally expressed that way on the EEC-V system, generally it's provided in Volts. For example, on a recent logged run my TPS voltage ranged from 0.958 V to 4.65 V.The EEC-V continuously monitors the TPS output and saves the lowest value measured as being closed throttle (this is called a "ratch" action, a reverse latch). I suspect the instrument reporting the throttle position as a percentage is using an incorrect formula to provide that value. If you take my log numbers (0.958 to 4.65 V) then 0.958 is 20.6% of 4.64. However since 0.958 IS closed throttle the real calculation should be (0.958 - 0.958) / (4.65 - 0.958) = 0.0%.I have never monitored the generic TP PID (PID 0111) which is supposed to be a percentage, I will do that next time I log...

RE: TPS setting???
that seems right, do the calculations yourself, if you want go check your tps voltage with the throttle closed and then when opened, should be around 1 volt rounded up while closed and 4.5 open, which would make for about 18 percent at idle.
