wow u guys are a crack up. if i re-did the exhaust were talking between a grand or two. which would seriously put a damper on the next on my todo list like T/B + plenuim and a tuner and prof tune. plus wheels and tires and some solution of a paint job for my hood. going back and redoing exahust now would suck! no one on here has shorties that likes them, even in the slightest??

the stock ones flow ok comparred to the shorties. even on a 450 hp car I dont think you would benefit much with the shorties. longtubes are the wy to go if not save your $$ for something else

+1 I REFUSE to get shorties... There's not enough difference in HP to warrent the price unless you like throwing your money away. I'm making well over 400rwhp with stock manifolds.

Unless they are free and you already have the engine out... Or they are free and you're really bored.

Same thing goes for UPD's.

I also was still making 265rwhp with stock manifolds when I was NA.

LT's... or dont do it at all.

and i wouldnt even get LT's unless i found someone to install them for free or dirt cheap. i just cant bring myself to pay $300 for a cheap pair of LT's then $500 - $700 to have them installed.....for 15hp?

yea thats about the response i expected...ive only found 2 thus far in this whole forum that would even slightly condone the shorties. i'll probably go another route on my mods if i can get away with it!! (girlfriend and i are suppossed to be saving for bahamas in august) i'm just dying to sneak something in! like a HID, Mach shifter, Accufab T/B. its really an addiction, which is why i was wanting someone to sing praises about shorties
