Default Steering (Ackerman Angle)?

I just bought some Steeda Aluminum Steering Rack Bushings and If I install them one way I keep Factory Acherman Angle. but If I put them in the oposite way I will increase Ackerman Angle. What would I gain from Increasing the Acherman Angle?

IIRC, increasing the Acherman Angle would essentially give you a better turning radius at slower speeds (road course, around town), but since the steering in Mustangs is velocity sensitive (I believe), it doesn't make a huge difference when you're at a higher speed..

I could be a little off on this, it's been a while since I've study steering geometry.. Realistically, you'd probably be fine just keeping them at the factory setting, unless you plan on driving a little more aggressively..

But I want to get it done tonight[:@]

In case anyone reads this later here is what Steeda sent me.
"Increasing Ackerman will cause the inside tire to turn into the corner more. This is good for turn-in steering response and tight turns. This is great for autocrossingbut it increases the slip angle of that tire which will cause it to wear quicker. So if tire wear is a concern, leave it stock."

Sweet.. I wasn't sure your intentions, and I think I need to brush up on some of my suspension studies...

Just for sh-ts and giggles, what else do you have done to your suspension?? What kind of tires are you using, or planning to use for AutoX??
