So I plan on getting 4.10's pretty quick and I've been hearing about the speedometer difference between stock gears and aftermarket gears.

Yea, I'm getting one for my car to recal the speedo. They run around 12 bucks, so thats a good deal. Just make sure its made for your rearend/gear combo.

 

Do they go in the cluster or in the rear end

and can you install it? or do you have to get it through the installers of the gears?

 

dont spend 200 dollars on it, thats for sure,,if worst comes to worst, go to dallasmustang and get theirs for 130 or so.

you can do it yourself if you want, its nothing real complex, there are directions, but it plugs and splices into the place below your dash, up front with you... the whole box thing like, goes iinto it.

but most places that install your gears, wont have a problem taking another ten minutes to put that in for you, mine didnt

 

$200 speed cal? where the hell are you shopping?

 

Lol ok maybe not 200 but none the less its more than I want to pay and that little gear thing is like 12$...
