Has anyone converted their 99 GT fuel tank & pump to a 04 cobra dual pump set up. I have a 99 GT and i'm installing a 04 Cobra fuel tank with dual upgraded Ford GT 40fuel pumps.
Will the pumps run accurate if i splice my 99 GT harness to the 04 cobra fuel pump harness.

i have the same set up minus the cobra tank. works great, the fuel pump driver on all mustangs have the same part #. so it will work, on my setup though i didnt have to splice anything, itjust plugged in. i will say that i am running of fuel past 6000rpm w/ that setup and an-6 lines all the way. i guess now i need to get a boost a pump to help out.

I have a cobra tank and pumps, I don't remember having to splice anything but my memory isn't that great.

Thanks for responding. I'm not sure what the an-6 line is , is that a stock fuel line? Also what will the boost a pump do to help?

The connector on the cobra pump is different, the color codes are the same. Thanks

With returnless systems after getting into higher numbers from boost, The power wire to the pumps has too much resistance. Who ever uses the dual pumps will run out of fuel without replacing the wire with about a 10ga wire.

an-6 stands for
army/navy fitting -6
the-6 mean '6' 16ths of an inch. so an an-8 is '8' 16ths of an inch
thats just the measurments used for steel braided lines.

I wasn't able to log on to the site you sent. When i replace the power wire with the 10 guage wire could you please tell me from the fuel up where to connect the 10 guage wire.
