Default Buying Catback for my Prochamber! Help with tone!

Hey guys, I'm going to be buying a catback in the next few days to go with my recently installed catless prochamber and I was wondering what you would reccommend I go with? I know with an H pipe many people go with Flows and with an X pipe, many people choose SLP LM's or a similar resonator muffler style setup. As far as pairing a catback with the prochamber goes, I really like the tone of the Mac Catback and that would be my top choice as of now - I just want to make sure I'm not rushing into anything - I want the car to be loud and to have a deep american muscle tone to it - nothing too raspy (hence, I avoided an X pipe) but I want it to be deep at idle and have somewhat of a barking rumble when I step on it. Haha, i realize I probably sound ridiculous trying to describe the sound but regardless, can you guys point me in the direction of a good sounding muffler / catback setup to pair with a prochamber? I also kind of like flowmaster american thunder mufflers but don't those drone horribly / lose power compared to others? Thanks in advance for your help

Stick with your plan and go with a MAC c/b. They sound unbelieveable with a Prochamber.

If you order the MAC c/b do not order the one with the 3.5" tips, that has been on back order for almost a year now and they have now idea when it will be in stock.....just tryin to help ya out.

Don't do bassani with a pro chamber.
I second the MAC catback. I have MACmufflers witha MAC o/r H pipe. I wish it was louder, but maybe it will be once i buy the whole cat back with the 2.5" tubing. You'll get the roar and bass your looking for. I wish i could hear flows in real life with an o/r H pipe and compare them to my car. NOrmally, i hate flows but i am curious to see what they sound like. The new trend i've seen now, is people throwing away flowmasters and buying MAC mufflers, as I am usually seeing and reading on youtube.

Yeah, I have heard that flows dyno lower than other catbacks and the bassani's are just so damn expensive! The problem is, I drive a bullitt - meaning it already has the better flowing Arvin mufflers. Will the Mac catback even be much louder? I want the thing to be LOUD but still have a deep muscley tone... When I was buying my prochamber vs. an H pipe, people seemed to be pretty divided over which was louder - which one is it? i know the prochamber dyno's with more power (hence, i bought it) and I like the tone, but I really want it to be LOUD with the new catback, and if a Mac isnt going to make it at least louder than it is now (cause I love the tone of the Mac) , then maybe I'll go for something else... whatdya think?

wait your on factory bullitt mufflers? Then heck yea, get the MAC, it will SURLEY be louder

The Prochamberis quieter than just the normal o/r H pipe, but i still feel it's a quality mid pipe.
If you want to hear a regular O/R H pipe with MAC catback, and see how frikin loud it is for yourself, click here

http://youtube.com/watch?v=5CY2NoMte68wait about a minute or so until my car comes up.
I'm weird when it comes to these things, I want it even louder to be honest but i'm not aware of any way to do so while keeping the MAC sound quality, unless i switch to 2.5 piping

For reference:

MAC LT's/Prochamber Mid/Flowmaster 40's

What I like about this setup is that when I get on it they are nice and throaty but when I roll past Johnny Law I just keep my foot out of it and he doesn't give me a second look!

Sounds sick but I would definitely not be doing a header install, way too labor intensive for the amount of space and tools I have in my garage.

I'm 99% sure i've decided to go Mac though on the catback - I'd really like the 3.5" tip kit but like black35th said, it seems like almost everyones out of them... my dad found one website that is advertising they have the 3.5" tip catback and the stock number matches the one on the mac website for the 3.5" catback - do you think its legit?

Also, would I gain any power coming from bullitt mufflers? I'm lookign to make the car as fast as I can without supercharging, nitrous-ing, or gearing it. My dad would not be cool with any of those things (gearing might be the only thing he'd eventually give in with but that would be way later) - Would i pick up a few hp with the mac catback or not really?

I have a BBK CAI, catless prochamber, and the bullitt mods like twin 57mm throttle body, pullies, intake mani, etc. car also has a short throw shifter and is lowered, if that helps at all (prob not). what else could I do after I buy the catback? is there anything really?
