Default Exhaust Tips (Weld-on or Clamp-on??)

I am looking into getting exhaust tips and I was wondering what my best bet would be on the life of the tips. I figured if I got clamp-on's the tips would rust much faster than weld on's. But I just wanted to ask you guys to see if you think the same as me. The specifications I am going to get are an inlet of 2.5" and an outlet of 3.5 or 4" at about a foot of length. Thanks for your help.

Stainless steel weld on's. I dont think I would o any bigger than 3.5" on your body style and the longer, the better. Length will give it a deeper echo tone. I think I went with 3.5"x18" or 16"

Check out Stainless Stell Systems (SSS) exhaust tips. They are 2.5" in 3.5" out fully adjustable rolled tips madefrom polished 304 stainless and they go for about $60 a pair. Can't beat that.

Weld ons, Summit has a nice selection. As Baino said, on your body style I wouldnt go any bigger than 3.5' and the longer is better.
