Trickflow Plenum polishing?
I just got my Trickflow plenum and the inside looks fairly rough with casting flash, etc. Do you think that polishing the inside of the plenum would make any differnce in air flow or is it just a waste of time?

RE: Trickflow Plenum polishing?
I ported then polished my stock plenum by using various dremel bits, and then wet sanded using a home made drill adaptor and various grits from 40-1500. It turned out good, very smooth and shiny, you could almost see yourself in it.
I probably wouldn't have "wasted" my time, as this tookquite a while, but I did it during some down time at work on an extra plenum I had.
As far as any gains I really can't help because I did several things at the same time, but I figure it can't hurt!

i ported andpolished my professional products plenum in about 20 mins and didnt cost me more than 6 dollars. yes it will help with flow but not that much!! its more just something you would do to say i have it done to mine and i did it myself because i was bored.

Dont knock trickflow they have made alot of products for our cars.....so what if the plenum has a few casting ruff edges..not going to make that much difference imo...it is nothing like porting and polishing heads. just my two cents. I support trickflow and stand behind their products.
