A 100 shot will make it a driver's race.

EDIT: Assuming it's an LS1.

3rd gen F-body or 4th gen F-body? I have a 97 GT with exhaust, cai, short throw. I'm 19, my friend has a 1988 T/A 305 throttle body, 5 spd, I walk all over him. His pos F-body has exhaust, headers. He's 18, his last car was a done up 86 ICOCK-Z, 305 with a carb, another pos. Couldn't touch me there, either.

be a drug mule for a week then you can do all the above mods and still have cash leftover.
teen + gt + friend with faster car = bad ending.
+1 just get your weight up. Like already said depends on the year of the trans am, auto or manual, and if the kid can drive.

Start with a PI swap if your new job works.

on an npi u would probably need more than just a littlespray. ive seen too many times a sprayed npi stang getting up and out of the hole just to get walked down by 3rd gear. 150 shot or go home. (once again, thats for the ls1)

u need to knock over a second and a half off ur time to get there

LT1's are 13.2's all day long with a halfway decient driver and NPI's are 15 second cars. Get some Drag radials, Gears, some spray and pray he doesn't hook on launch.

w00t 4v for the win, i picked mine up for pretty damn cheap $7500 out of a TINY car dealership about 200 miles away, i had to make the trip. I'd just save up ur money and buy an 99 or 01 Cobra,

They range from about 11-17k most falling in the 13-15k range.
