I have a 5-speed 2000 Mustang GT w/ a CAI, and Exhaust.. would I be able to take down an automatic 1991 Trans AM? I don't know what those things push but I think its got like a re-done stock motor in it with a lot of aftermarket stuff. The car itself has like 150,000 Miles on it... my car has a brand new motor with like, 2,000 miles on it.

Why? What does that car put out at the crank? It's my girlfriend's pop's car.. got me thinking.

 

275-300 plus they have more Tq on tap than you can make full bolt on.

 

I just read up on the motor for that year. The most powerful one put in only made 210-240 at the crank. My car does 260 at the crank. If I put better gears on my car I'm sure I could take it from a dead stop. ATM I couldnt swamp him from a 30 roll.
