Hey guysI ran into a problem my car seems to have a tough time starting when it is warm, it will turn over but it takes like the 3rd time to finally start. Also when it does this the fumes from the exhaust smell funny. It runs fine and everything on cold starts it starts right up. No check engine lights are on ,and engine is stock. fuel pump bad? maybe fuel filter get a fuel pressure gague and check it... how old are ur plugs?

 

never changed plugs since i bought the car last year and car has 40,000 possible they could be old and how much is a fuel pressure gauge?

 

yes! change your plugs! go with motorcraft there the best or autolites or ngk are ok too but I wouldn't do nothin else... make sure u don't overtighten the plugs or u will have BIG problems just make sure there snug! not lose tho... but replace ur fuel filter too... run some lucus fuel injector cleaner and cheap fuel pressure gauge is like 7$
