Default rear end

I was wondering if rear end gears are something I could do or only a shop? I got pretty good skills.?

you upgrading your 3.73s? in theory yes you can with the right tools and know how, but the pinion depth setting is pretty important if you screw that up don't expect them to last long. Just have a good shop do it

for a friend, I def would not do it if I hadn't done it before successfully. you mess it up then you will have to fix it and pay for it

Have you priced shops out? I don't think it's that much to have a professional do it, at least the last time I checked around here. It's a pretty common mod.
