my friend is running a 1.25 spacer on the rear with his stock wheels and stock 245/45/17 tires...it lines up perfectly....and no problems safety wise or antyhing
I run 1" spacers on the rear of my 02 with 255's. For some reason my tire was rubbing my exhaust pipe on the pass side (thanks Borla), so I had to get them. They've been on there for around 5 months with absolutely zero problems.
I run a DD 10.5 with a 315/35/17 with no rubbing issues.I did however remove the quad shocks.I would have the exhaust tweeked long before i put spacers on.
i third that, only with the irs subframe bolt would i use them, but am running 285-40-17 with no issues. i only rubb up front now. lowere ftw, and only on fully steering wheel turns.
