comp stage 3 cam

Default comp stage 3 cam

I have an 02' GT, full bolt on's, and was wondering how much HP gain i would get if i added a comp stage 3 cam and springs??

I hope you have flycut pistons because you might have PTV issues with the duration on that cam.

Everything else not taken into equation, you sacrifice usable power under the curve for peak HP numbers. Its all about what you want to do with the car. If you have a road race/drag car that spends hardly any time below 4000 RPM then a big cam would be worthwhile, but if its a street car you want as much power under the curve as you can get.

YOUR AN IDIOT, why would you get stage 3 cams on a mostly stock motor.... you are losing alot of low end power... i would recommend the stage 2 hi tech cams as well.... DO NOT BUY THE COMP CAMS, it will be a waist of money

hey red fire no need to be a dick he was asking because he didnt know so why not just say that the stage 3 are a waiste and he would be happy with the stage 2 hi tech. and leave the YOUR AN IDOIT out....

wow way to be a dick, if everybody knew everything there wouldnt be a reason for these forums. these forums are for people to ask for answers to questions they dont know, not for you to call someone an idiot. unless you were the original designer of the ford mustang im sure you dont know everything either so if you dont have anything informative to say why make an a$$ of yourself.
