Default Supercharging/Mileage

Hello. I have a question regarding supercharging my stang. This has been a long time dream I am had, and now I think it might can happen, but I have a few important questions. I have a 1999 G.T the car is in perfect condition oil change every 3,000 miles since birth and all maintenance has been performed on a regular basis. Although my car just rolled over 133,000 miles. This is something I cant really help, but I dont want it to end my dream of supercharging the car. I have read numerous times were people have supercharged well over 100,000 miles. The only supporting mods I have are a 75mm TB, Trickflow UP, X-Pipe no cats and dual flows. Will I be ok running a kit from procharger @ 10psi and tuning the car with sniper software? Any advice will be appreciated GREATLY.

the tune is the most important thing in not blowing the engine. I'm not sure at 10 psi on that many miles, although if the motor is in good shape, you should be ok. I would run less boost, like 6 or 8.

Thanks, for your help. I to realize the main key is in the tune, although I really at the time don't want to take and have it tuned using a dyno.....I was hopeing I could get it to a safe level with the sniper software....

Boost is very tempting. Just keep your gas pedal @ 1/2 throttle and you'll be fine.

I'm sure you will be ok with the sniper tune, but as I'm sure you are aware the dyno tune would be optimum

I recommend a dyno tune and forging your bottom end first with such a high mileage car. I have a vortech kit for sale if you are interested pm me.
