Well I completely messed up the passenger side nut and stud so I took it too a shop and they got it off, replaced the stud, and installed my h pipe. My midpipe came with a short piece of thin pipe only about 2 inches long that they didn't use. I have mad exhaust leaks so I am taking it back tomorrow. What is that piece of pipe and should they have used it?

 

what mid pipe did you go with?

 

I have that little 2 inch piece that came with my... damn, i think it is a BBK o/r H pipe. It was on my driver side going to the headers. I just put in back in, i thought it was like a kind of gasket or something. I had to go back and re-tighten the nuts that connect the h pipe to my headers cuz i had a little exhuast leak.

 

i went with a mac o/r h pipe

 

Yeah i have the MAC o/r h pipe, that's what it is! Damn brain fart, that stinks.

 

So exactly how does it go in..like direction wise. That way I can tell them. I also need to make sure they actually put a gasket on the passenger side.

 

Was it already one piece? Maybe that piece went were i have the arrow in the pic?

 

it will just slide down the pipe and the lip of the 2in pipe will sitting on the top of the pipe. Yeah definetly make sure there is gasket on the otherside. good luck
