On an auto it will make a HUGE difference. It's probablly one of the best mods you can do. Not because it adds power because it wont add much but because it can increase your shift points and increase their firmness.

Make sure you are running premium gas other wise you could get some detonation.

I'm thinking about getting one of these tuners for my car too because my O/R X has my CEL on and is killing my mileage. Will this tuner solve my problem by turning off the rear O2 sensor readings?

I know for a fact that the Predator Tuner by diablosport can turn. But I would assume that most of the other tuners would be able to do it to.

I have looked at most tuners on the market for our cars and they all have the ability to turn off the rear o2's and reset your CEL.
Detonation is unburned air/fuel mixture that explodes after the normal explosion caused by the spark plug, if allowed to continue you will damage internal engine components

Pretty much any tuner on the market has the capabilty of turning off the rear 02s and getting rid of the CEL when running an O/R mid-pipe. The predator comes with a pretty good tune which will give you a bit more throttle response and a few HP.

Sufferer - the CEL light that would be on due to installing an O/R will not do anything to your fuel mileage. the rear O2's are simply testing emisssions to tell whether or not the cats are cleaning your exhaust efficiently. of course you have no cats, so it's throwing a CEL. this has no effect on your gas mileage whatsoever. now the two O2 sensors before the cats are what you should be concerned about. if you've noticed a drastic change in fuel mileage since installing your X, I'd make sure you have those front sensors plugged back in and make sure neither one of them are damaged.
