Default Dirty Fuel injector problem.

Any help would be appreciated on this one. I have an 04 GT Rag top. About 6 weeks ago the Check Engine light came on the dealer said is was a misfire and reset since he could not find anything wrong. Two hours later the same thing. Bring it back to dealer and he says Cylinder 8 is misfiring. Replaces coil, injector and plug. Well a week and a half ago same problem, now he says wants to pull tank since all injectors are clogged and he now suspects dirt in the fuel tank.

It is very frustrating since this car has only 6k in miles. In addition why did he not find it the first two times. He now wants me to pay close to 2k in repair costs. Has anyone else out there had this problem. I have asked for for help, however, they seem useless. Will only back the dealer. I am at wits end with this one any suggestions or help would greatly be appreciated.

even if there were dirt in the tank, the fuel filter should of blocked it, unless it failed at some point.

I had a 2 cups of dirt in my tank lasted summer. It made my fuel pump fail but the fuel filter stoped it from getting in the injectors. I have 34,000miles on mine, I hate bad gas[:@][:@]

Yeah.... doesnt make sence to me. Im still wondering why youre paying money to get youre 04 fixed with a WARRANTY! lol... Like everyone else said.

The fuel pump sits low in the tank and can pick up dirt... but not alot. AND if you have dirt or what ever... then the fuel filter would get clogged and it wouldnt fire.

I dont think you have a faulty filter. I think you have a faulty tech. lol.

and if you had clogged injectors you would know it belive me. Also you might wanna check the Number 8 fuel injector wire. There are 2 of them trace them back to the harness and make sure they didnt rub on anytihng metal. I had a 02 GT with same number 8 misfire. Injector wire was rubbing on metal. Then again the fuse kept blowing and you havent said anything about fuses... so never mind that. lol.

They should already warranty everything they are doing. Its not youre fault unless you decided to be a jackass and put sand in youre tank... which i highly doubt.
