who makes a good set of lt headers for my 98 gt auto for a decent price? are ceramic coated that much better than painted ones?

Any kind of LT will work really, Mac/BBK are the cheaper ones.

Definitely go with the S/C. An NA 4.6 is fail.

Oh you have an automatic that complicates things. I hear the Macs work with autos but you might want to wait on someone else before you order lol.

Hey man if I could do it all over again I would have bought long tube headers. I've invested to much money to go back. I was really surprised the way the shorties sounded with the flows and the o/r h-pipe.

I have BBK long tubes, and bbk catted h-pipe, with a stock cat back, sounds beautiful, the headers are a two day job for me, on the driver side of the engine I had to cut a piece out from the header plate for room for the dipstick, and then the k member had to come out for the passenger side, everyone will tell you that you have to drop the motor YOU DON'T!!!!! Just take out the bolt for the motor mount, the starter, which is hard, and lift the motor up about 4 inches, it will be a tight fit, but it will work, I know, I just did it a couple weeks ago.
