You won't fit the sub in there. I don't know.. I used to have a 12" in my trunk that had to be horizontal in order to clear the trunk when it closed. The subwoofer could only sit there ONE way, and couldn't be moved. The setup looked unprofessional and cheap.

I suggest STRONGLY getting a 10'. I had the Alpine 1243D 12" Type X in my trunk.. and if you buy a 10" it pounds just as hard. Matter of fact, you could buy two 10" if you wanted to. I have a 2000 GT btw, and my trunk is the same as yours. Please trust me on this one and save yourself hours of aggravation.

lol, i had 2 12" Kenwood subs in my trunk. now i need an amp that can power them. box was real tiny. it was made for 10" subs but had it resized.

top to bottom: around 12-15 inches
side to side: probably 2 feet.

my box is like no other, it starts skinny from the top and opens up a little. i'll try to get some pictures later.

You can fit a 12, but for a box thats built to spec it'll be hard to fit it sitting horizontally, you'd most likely have to lay it on its back. But as far as 10" subs go, the type x's are one of the more expensive 10's out there it'll easily run ya 400+ for 2 x's. I have 1 10"type R and its plenty loud for me.

I don't understand! You guys must be really good. I had a Q-Logic box which was the perfect box matched to spec for my Type-X.. It's not practical! lol
