Dyno results!
Hey, remember me? I'm the guy that posted not too long ago looking for 260 rwhp with a plenum, throttle body, Under drive's, Off Road Xpipe and an aluminum drive shaft.
Well I had the car dyno'd before the mods with just a K&N CAI, and some Borla Stinger cat back's. The results were 237.2 rwp at 4900 rpm and 273.6 lb ft of torque at 4150 rpm's.
I installed the aforementioned parts, drove it for a couple hundred miles to let the computer "learn" the new mods and then took it back to the SAME dyno. The results were as follows, 255.6 rwhp at 4900 rpm's and 288.9 lb ft of torque at 4200 rpm's.
So, I gained a solid 18 hp and 15.3 lb ft of torque at the wheels with the mods!
So next I am going to install an electric water pump and a custom "tune". I need to see around 265-270 hp at the wheels. (310-320 hp at the flywheel)
What do you think?
Thanks.

18hp, LOL. Humidity, heat and dyno calibration effect dyno results. Ideally, Only way to be consistent is back to back runs after each mod but since that will never happen just consider the average. Don't be surprised if you have the same numbers you have now or less or more. With a mod with that little amount of net gain, or recovery for those that will nit pick at what I say humidity changes on the dyno day can scew results.
And, your car learning mods isn't going to gain you any noteable Hp. That's silly.
NA, I dyno'd my car 4 times with the same mods. 252,260,265 & 255 in that order.

why dyno 4 times with same mods? just was wondering i can see if you change something but just sticking it on the dyno 4 times with out changing anything. i have run back to back dyno but it was while tuning and that didnt take 4 runs well a couple with the nitrous off and a few with it on.

You may like the idea, but it won't--the thermostat will continue to regulate the flow as needed to keep the coolant temp where it want's it to be...
