Default Left Blinker problem

Recentally i went to turn on my left hand singal light ( blinker) and it was twice as fast as normal. Now it does it all the time. The right one is normal speed. What is this a bad fuse or soemthing?

Sounds like you a little low on blinker fluid. Good time to switch to synthetic.

You mean Halogen fluid, lol

I know on some cars if one light burns out the other does that. But you said your right signal still worked. Do both the front and rear turns signals work?

One of the left side lamps is blown...

However you may also want to check the blinker fluid.

You can get some here, it's sold out right now but that's the best price anywhere...

That means that one of your bulbs is about to go, that's all.

The blinker fluid is a requirement for most of the "older" model cars.. but until recently basically all of the 2005+ cars have whats called "SPE" (self powered electric) designs where they no longer need this fluid. Our cars require them, and usually you should only have to change the fluid once (possibly twice) throughout the entire life of the car. The problem you are describing might require you to switch to fully synthetic fluid. There's a link to it above.

I think I saw a TSB describing a defect in some of the Mitsubishi sourced BFPs (Blinker Fluid Pumps), as safety equipment it should be covered even on older vehicles.
