I must be the only one who's against nitrous. It runs out... Epitomizes cheating IMHO. You can either win or lose, not win on this day or lose because you sunk the bottle. I know it's fun but temporary fun is a tease as far as I'm concerned. A charger is always around even if it gets hot and saps power, it's a permanent upgrade. So too is a built motor. My car with a good shot could take down cars that would feed me my *** without it. I could run into the same guy I toasted spraying with a dead bottle and get killed. I'd rather have full time "go" than short bursts of instant gratification. That's just me though...keep in mind I'm speaking of street use only. Nitrous for 10 seconds in a best time scenario at the track is a different story altogether...

Alright, start on the suspension..

Get a decent set of shocks and struts, I'd suggest 90/10s in the front and 50/50s in the back, but thats strickly a straight line setup. Get some full length subframe connectors, and a decent set of upper/lower control arms.. Next find you some old 15" v6 wheels and pick up a set of 235/60/15 MT ET Streets. You will have no traction issues and you can launch the **** out of the car at the track.. When you get home, slap on the other rims and be on your way

ill back that up... hes basically describing my set up... 4500-5000 clutch dumps and it just hooks and goes.

if you want something more suited for street use, get strange shocks/struts, just a few bucks more(like $10-20 a piece) and fully adjustable, great for a s/s car.

as for nitrous, its quite simple, if im out, i wont run ppl in my car... then again, i keep 2 bottles now, so if ones out usually the other is not.

nitrous is damn fun on the track and street. and for those who say its cheating... look at my set up, look at an s/c set up.... money isnt that much differant. and guess what, its nice to have a "stockish" car to drive to and from, and a quick car to race with...
